Morning: Hanoi – Temple of Literature 

 

8h00: Company’s bus and tour guide receive tourists at the appointed place to start the 1 day tour in Hanoi. The first destination is Tran Quoc Pagoda built under Ly Nam De Emperor time (541 – 547) which is located on Thanh Nien Street as a small corner of West Lake.
 
9h20: The next destination is the relic of Ho Chi Minh President including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the final resting place of Uncle Ho; Uncle Ho’s stilt house where he lived and worked from 1958 to 1968. The next place is Ho Chi Minh Museum which describes the life and work of our great father. Besides, One Pillar Pagoda, a unique construction built in early XI century (1049) is also an attractive address to visit. This is considered the pride of Hanoi people and also Vietnamese in general 
 
12h00:  Bus takes you to have a rest and lunch at restaurant. 
 
 
13h00: After having lunch, tourists continue the tour to visit Temple of Literature which was constructed in 1070, under the time of Emperor Ly Thanh Tong. This serves as our first national university with quite a large scale. This temple was built with an aim of worshipping Confucius – the founder of Confucianism and teacher Chu Van An – the first teacher of this university, representing the moral philosophy of the education in Vietnam. 
 
14h20:  Bus takes tourists to visit Hoa Lo Prison – one of the important witnesses for the resilience and bravery of Vietnamese in war times.
 
 
15h30: tourists are transferred back to the city centre to pay a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake before freely shopping at Dong Xuan Market and visit 36 streets in Hanoi Old Quarter. 
 
16h00: Hanoi one day tour finishes. Goodbye and see you again!
